The Bible
We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Old and New Testaments. In addition, we believe that the 66 books of the Bible have been divinely preserved in the King James Bible, to the exclusion of all other versions. Therefore, we believe the King James Bible to be the inspired, preserved, perfect words of God by which all things are to be judged.
The Godhead
We believe that God eternally exists in three persons— the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thus, God is a Triunity— three in one and one in three. Each member of the Godhead (Trinity) is, always has been, and always will be perfect, equal, and infinite.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is both God the Son and the Son of God. He exists eternally and yet He came to this world, begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Jesus is both God and man. As such, He is entirely without sin. He died for the sins of all men, he remained dead for three days and three nights, He rose again the third day, He lives forevermore, and He is coming back to Earth to rule as King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. He convicts both the lost and the saved of sin. He baptizes and seals a believer at the moment of salvation. He fills, comforts, teaches, and guides the believer throughout his life.
Man
We believe that God literally created Adam as the first man. In His original creation, man was innocent and made in the image of God. However, due to Adam’s disobedience, sin has been passed down to all his descendants. Therefore, all men are born sinners and all are in need of the Lord’s salvation.
Salvation
We believe that every man’s sin has separated him from God and doomed him to death and Hell. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the only acceptable payment for a man’s sin. The only way anyone may receive salvation is by believing on Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, without any mixture of works. At the moment a person believes on Christ for salvation, they receive forgiveness of all sins and eternal life. Once saved, a believer is eternally saved and secure.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the premillennial, pre-tribulation return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is coming in the clouds first, in order to rapture all those who are saved. Later, He will return to the Earth to rule and reign for one-thousand years. Afterward, Christ will destroy the Earth and the Heavens and create a New Heaven and a New Earth, where we shall live with Him eternally.
The Church
We believe the church is manifest in two forms: universal and local. By universal, we mean that the church, which is Christ’s body, is made up of all believers. By local, we understand that all believers should unite with local congregations known as churches. A local church is to be entirely self-sufficient and self-governing, without any interference from outside influence. In addition, the local church is given two offices— pastor and deacon— as well as two ordinances— baptism and the Lord’s Supper.
Satan
We believe in a literal being known as Satan. He began as a heavenly being known as Lucifer, the anointed cherub. However, lift up with pride, he along with the angels who followed him, rebelled against God and was subsequently cast down in sin. Ever since, Satan has consistently sought to hinder the work of God in this world. He is the enemy of all God’s people and he will one day be cast into the lake of fire.
Eternity
We believe that there are only two possible places a man will go to when he dies: Heaven and Hell. Heaven is a place where the Lord is on the throne. Heaven is the home of those who have believed on Jesus Christ for salvation. There is no sickness, pain, death, or sin in that wonderful place! Hell is a place of literal, eternal fire and torment, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. Hell was made for the devil and his angels; however, those who reject Jesus Christ go there as well.
Holiness and Separation
We believe that every believer is called to live a holy and separated life. We ought to seek to be Scriptural in our behavior, appearance, speech, and every other facet of our life. In addition, we wholeheartedly oppose false-teachers, false-doctrine, worldliness, fleshliness, and the modern Laodicean church movement.
Marriage
We believe marriage was created and ordained by God. As such, He has defined it as being between one man and one woman. Any sexual activity outside of the Biblical definition of marriage is called fornication and adultery, including homosexuality. We do not support or recognize any marriage that is not between one man and one woman.
